I think this camera is great, at 12mp, and 5x optical zoom, you can zoom in suprisingly close to objects. I have been able to take "professional" looking photos for artwork etc, and great candids. It also takes long videos, and has pretty decent audio as well. Definitely couldn't be happier with my purchase.
